HC Deb 08 July 1878 vol 241 c958
MR. BIGGAR (for Mr. O'CONNOR POWER)

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland, If he has any objection to lay upon the Table of the House a Copy of the Memorial presented to the Lord Lieutenant on behalf of Edward O'Kelly, a prisoner now detained in Spike Island, and which was signed by eleven members of the jury by which he was tried and convicted, the said jury being the third which had to be empannelled in his case?

MR. J. LOWTHER

Sir, I find it has been the invariable practice not to produce such documents as the one referred to; and I, therefore, regret that I am unable to lay it upon the Table.
