§ MR. W. H. SMITHSir, the approximate cost of the Boiler Committee for the four years they sat was between £16,000 and £17,000. The Committee, in its original form, was dissolved in April last, and a new and less expensive Committee, consisting of Admiralty officials, has been appointed to continue the inquiry, and to conclude the various experiments which have been commenced.
