§ MR. ERRINGTONasked the Secretary of State for War, Whether he can 1847 hold out any hope that the long contemplated and much needed increase of accommodation in Longford Cavalry Barracks, especially in the married soldiers' quarters, will soon be provided?
§ MR. GATHOENE HARDYSir, I regret that I cannot give much satisfaction to the hon. Member. The fact is that the system of shortened services has brought into consideration the necessity of limiting the number of married soldiers' quarters, and this year I shall not, I fear, be able to provide for the case of Longford.
