DRUMMOND WOLFFasked Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, Whether any answer has been received to Lord Derby's Despatch to Lord Augustus Loftus of 31st January 1878, stating that Her Majesty's Government had received with satisfaction the statement that Prince Gortchakoff had no objection to suppressing altogether the article in the conditions of peace communicated by Count Schouvaloff on the 25th January, referring to an understanding between Russia and Turkey in regard to the Straits, and further stating that Her Majesty's Government would be glad to learn that the Russian Government had suppressed it accordingly?
