MR. ASSHETON CROSS

said, that a Notice of opposition to this Bill having been placed upon the Notice Paper, the Committee upon it could not be taken after half-past 12 o'clock to-night; but he trusted that that Notice would, upon further consideration, be withdrawn, in which case the measure might be proceeded with to night.
