asked the First Commissioner of Works, When he expects the new Museum of Natural History at South Kensington to be ready for the reception of the whole or any part of the collections now in the British Museum?

MR. GERARD NOEL

, in reply, said, that the new building of the Museum of Natural History at South Kensington would, if no unforeseen circumstance occurred, be completed in the early part of next year, and it was hoped that by the autumn of next year the Museum would be ready for the reception of the collections referred to by the hon. Member.
