HC Deb 01 March 1877 vol 232 c1208
MR. O'NEILL

asked the Secretary of State for War, Whether his attention has been directed to the following statement which has appeared in the public papers:— It has been ruled by the military authorities that Antrim, which was selected for the head quarters of the 63rd Brigade Depot, is altogether unsuited for a military station; and, whether that statement is correct?

MR. GATHORNE HARDY

My attention had not been called to this statement until the hon. Member put down his Question. I can find no authority for it in the Office, and no such ruling has been made.
