CHAMBERLAINasked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether Her Majesty's Government have received any reply to the statement made by Lord Derby to Count Schouvaloff, and contained in the despatch of the Earl of Derby to Lord A. Loftus of July 17th 1877, on the subject of outrages alleged to have been inflicted by the Russian troops upon the Mahommedan population of the Turkish provinces in Asia and Europe; and, if so, whether he has any objection to state the nature of such reply?
