§ Motion made, and Question proposed, "That The O'Donoghue be one other Member of the Committee."
§ MR. BIGGARobjected to the nomination of the hon. Member for Tralee (the O'Donoghue), on the ground that he did not represent the opinions of any section of the Irish people.
§ MR. MARTENhoped the objection would not be pressed. The name of the hon. Member was proposed at the express request of several hon. Gentlemen from Ireland.
§ SIR CHARLES W. DILKEremarked that while Ireland was represented by three Members, Scotland had only one Member.
