§ THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUERHer Majesty's Government are continually "looking to the state of Public Business in this House," and looking at the difficulties with which not only "private Members" as they are good enough to denominate themselves, but Members of the Government also, are contending, but I am not at present prepared to make any proposal on the subject. I think, after recent events, it would be proper that we should consider the whole subject, and then, perhaps, I shall be able to answer the Question of the hon. Member.
