MORRISasked the Secretary of State for War, If in consequence of the large increase in the number of recruits in Galway, the Government will advise the enrolment of the City of Galway Artillery, or increase the County Regiment of Militia to its original strength? MR. GATHORNE HARDY: The Galway Artillery Regiment has not been formed, because the Infantry regiment was unable to complete its establishment of ten companies. It has now been reduced to six companies, and the establishment is nearly complete. If on the expiration of the ensuing training the full number of men present themselves, there will be no objection to form the Artillery regiment.
