HC Deb 20 February 1877 vol 232 c737
MR. SERJEANT SHERLOCK

asked the First Commissioner of Works, Whether an arrangement can be made to restore to the ladies who visit the Ladies' Gallery of this House the waiting-room of which they were deprived last year, and the loss of which has given rise to general complaints on their part?

MR. GERARD NOEL

, in reply, said, he deeply regretted that the ladies who attended the deliberations of the House should have any cause to complain of the want of accommodation afforded; but he would look into the matter and see if any arrangement could be made which would insure their comfort.
