HC Deb 09 August 1877 vol 236 c671
MR. ERRINGTON

asked the Postmaster General, Whether he can hold out any hope that he will be able to make the changes in the postal service between Longford and Lonesborough, recently prayed for in an influentially signed memorial from the county Longford?

LORD JOHN MANNERS

The memorial in question has been received very recently, and the inquiries necessary have not yet been completed. But I may tell the hon. Member that I can see my way to open a post-office in the village of Newton-Cashel.
