asked Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, Whether Her Majesty's Government have received any information of an understanding be- tween Russia, Austria, and Germania for the partition of the Ottoman Empire; and, if so, whether this is the cause of our present inaction where British interests are so seriously imperilled?
