MR. J. COWENasked Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, If the Government 470 will obtain from Her Majesty's Secretary of Legation at Washington, and the British Consuls in the United States, authentic reports of the late industrial conflicts in that country, and publish them at the earliest convenient date in the form of a Return?
§ THE CHANCELLOE OF THE EXCHEQUERI have communicated with Lord Derby on the subject of the hon. Member's Question since he referred to the subject on Saturday, and I learn that the Foreign Office will be happy to obtain authentic reports of the conflicts referred. Perhaps it would be convenient if the hon. Member would move for Returns in the form in which he wishes to have them.
