asked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether any report has yet been received from the British Vice Consul at Jeddah as to the case of the slave who in last December, having escaped to H.M.S. "Fawn," was sent back to his owner?

in reply, said, that a Report had been received from the British Vice Consul at Jeddah on the subject, and was now under the consideration of the Government.
