asked the Secretary to the Treasury, Whether he has obtained an opinion on the legality of the recent in closure in the New Forest near Stoneycross; and, whether he considers that any of the rights of the Crown or of the commoners have been infringed?

in reply, said, it was the intention of the Government to take the opinion of the Law Officers on the question.
