HC Deb 25 May 1876 vol 229 c1193
CAPTAIN PRICE

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty, Whether his attention has been called to an extract in the "Western Morning News," purporting to be taken from the Report of the Committee on Royal Naval Engineers and Engine-room Artificers; and, whether this extract is substantially correct; and if he is now prepared to lay the Report upon the Table of the House?

MR. HUNT

, in reply, said, he had not seen the extract referred to by the hon. Member, and therefore he was unable to say whether it was correct. He had given no authority for any part of the Report of the Committee to be communicated to any newspapers. The Report would not be laid upon the Table of the House until some decision had been arrived at with regard to it.
