Lord HENRY LENNOXYes, Sir, by the courtesy of the Editor of The Hackney Gazette I have seen the letters which appeared in that journal addressed to myself, and to which I suppose the hon. Member for Hackney alludes. The letters not only reflect on the management, but they contain serious charges against the officials of Victoria Park; but they are anonymous, and I think the House, and I am sure the hon Member himself will agree with me that I ought to take no notice of charges so grave made against officials in whom I have reason to place confidence until the writer of the letters will have the goodness to come forward in his own name and enable those who have been accused to meet the charges thus brought against them.
