asked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, If he will lay upon the Table the information in the possession of the Foreign Office in regard to the capabilities for trade, &c. of the port of Kiung Chow, in China, the opening of which is notified in the "London Gazette" of the 25th day of April last?

in reply, said, that one of the Consuls in China had been ordered to make a Report, and when it was received he would be happy to lay it on the Table of the House.
