asked the President of the Local Government Board, Whether it is the intention of the Government to introduce during the present Session any Bill in reference to the Pollution of Rivers, and if such Bill was to be introduced into the House, whether he is able to state when it will be introduced?

Mr. SCLATER-BOOTH,

in reply, said, it was still the intention of the Government, as announced early in the Session, to introduce a Bill upon the subject referred to by the hon. Member, but he was quite unable to say when it would be introduced.
