ERRINGTONasked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether any Reports were received in the years 1872, 1873, 1874, and 1875, from Her Majesty's Consuls in the Island of Reunion on the condition of Indian Coolies in that Island; and, if so, whether he has any objection to lay a Copy of such Reports upon the Table of the House.
§ MR. BOURKE, in reply, said, that Reports had been received, and representations had been made to the Government of Madras; but the Government did not consider it desirable that these representations should be laid before the House.
