§ Mr. GREGORYasked the Under Secretary of State for India, Whether a complete Return of the proceeds of all moveable property obtained by the Indian Government from the ex-Chiefs of Kirwee has been furnished, in accordance with the Order of the House of Commons, dated the 23rd day of July 1874, by His Excellency the Viceroy of India; and, if not, whether Her Majesty's Government has taken any steps to ensure a prompt Return of the whole of the moneys belonging to those Princes which passed into the possession of the local authorities, as well as of all treasure found by the troops at Lucknow?
§ LORD GEORGE HAMILTON, in reply, said, that he had not yet received a complete Return. When the remainder of the Returns had been received, he would supply the hon. Member with the information they contained.
