HC Deb 14 March 1876 vol 227 c2015
MR LAW

asked Mr. Solicitor General for Ireland, Whether it is the intention of Her Majesty's Government to introduce a Bill this Session for the revision of the Ante-Union Statutes of Ireland?

THE SOLICITOR GENERAL FOR IRELAND (Mr. PLUNKET)

It is the intention of the Government, as soon as conveniently may be, to effect the revision of the Irish Ante-Union statutes; but, having regard to other more important legal Bills which we have already on hand, I cannot yet undertake to say that we shall during the present Session introduce such a measure as my right hon. and learned Friend suggests.
