HC Deb 13 June 1876 vol 229 c1764
SIR ALEXANDER GORDON

asked the Secretary of State for War, Whether he will lay upon Table of the House a copy of the Army Corps Training Bill, showing, by Clauses in juxta position, the alterations proposed from the Military Manœuvres Act passed last Session, before he moves the Third. Reading of the Bill in question?

MR. GATHORNE HARDY,

in reply, said, the object of the Army Corps Training Bill was entirely different from that of the Military Manœuvres Act. It only proposed to take very limited powers in respect to nine different places, and he did not think that any good purpose would be answered by placing the clauses in juxta position.
