rose to call the attention of the House to the circumstances affecting the public rights of Fishery on the Blackwater and on the tidal waters of the estuary of that river; and to move— That, without desiring to infringe upon private rights of several fishery in the Blackwater, this House is of opinion that it is the duty of the Government to watch over and protect the rights of the public in respect to fishery in the tidal waters of that and other Irish rivers. He strongly recommended the matter to the attention of the Government.
