THORNHILL (for Mr. Goddard)asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether his attention has been directed to the circumstance of there having been three or four serious outrages committed in Jermyn Street and its neighbourhood during the last month, and to the fact of the police having obtained as yet no clue to the perpetrators of those offences?
MR. ASSHETON CROSSMy attention has been called to the circumstances, and instructions have been given to the police to inquire into the matter, and I do hope that the perpetrators of the outrages will be found out.
