HC Deb 25 April 1876 vol 228 c1627
GENERAL SIR GEORGE BALFOUR

asked the Under Secretary of State for India, Whether the Replies of LORD Northbrook to the Despatch of the Secretary of State for India of 11th November 1875, relating to the India Tariff Act, have been received at the India Office; and, whether there will be any objection to lay them upon the Table?

LORD GEORGE HAMILTON

We have just received the whole of the reply of the Indian Government, and as soon as the reply of the Secretary of State, which is now under consideration, has been made, I will lay the Papers upon the Table of the House.
