MR. SPEAKER

Will the hon. Member be so good as to read the heading of the Petition?

SIR EARDLEY WILMOT

It is a Petition from Inhabitants of Boulogne-sur-Mer.

MR. SPEAKER

I am not aware of any instance in which a Petition from Inhabitants of a foreign town has been presented or received by this House; and before such a step is taken I hope the House will allow me to consider what course should be followed with respect to such a Petition.
