§ MR. BRYANasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland, If he could explain to the House why the Commissioners of Church Temporalities in Ireland have omitted from the list of national monuments, under the twenty-fifth section of the Irish Church Act, the ruins of Glendalough in county Wicklow?
§ SIR MICHAEL HICKS-BEACH, in reply, said, that this misunderstanding had arisen from the circumstance of the ruins having been mentioned in the Schedule as the Seven Churches, and not described as the ruins of Glendalough.
