PAGETasked the President of the Local Government Board, Whether, seeing that the annual Return (Letter D) of the Local Government Board, presented in January last, gives the total expenditure by overseers on account of Highways up to Lady Day 1874, it would not be possible to expedite the publication of the annual Abstracts of Highway Expenditure under the Act 12 and 13 Vic. c. 35. the last Return of which only brings the accounts up to Lady Day 1872?
§ MR. SCLATER-BOOTH, in reply, said, he hoped to be able to expedite the publication of the abstracts referred to, and that he had given directions having that object in view.
