§ SIR ARTHUR GUINNESSasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland, Whether the Local Government Boards for Ireland, under the Act of last Session, intend to appoint a Special Inspector for the four Chemical Works in Ireland, independent of the Inspectors at present acting under the Alkali Act, 1863?
§ SIR MICHAEL HICKS-BEACH, in reply, said, that looking at the small number of chemical works in Ireland, there appeared to be no necessity for appointing special Inspectors for them.
