HC Deb 15 March 1875 vol 222 cc1803-4
MR. RODWELL

asked the President of the Local Government Board, Whether he has any objection to direct that when the Local Government Department make any Report upon any Private Bill to the Committee on such Bill, or to any officer of either House of Parliament, a copy of such Report shall at the same time be communicated to the agent or agents for the Bill?

MR. SCLATER-BOOTH

These Reports, Sir, as my hon. Friend is aware, are addressed, in pursuance of Standing Orders, to the Chairman of Committees and to the Chairman of Ways and Means, for their information, and for that of the Committees on the Bills. If the authorities of the two Houses see no objection, copies of the Reports may be furnished on application to the agents of the parties.
