RYDERasked the Under Secretary of State for India, When the Return of Moveable Property which came into the possession of the State in consequence of the military successes at Lucknow and Kirwee in the last Indian war, which was moved for in the Sessions of 1873 and 1874, will he presented to Parliament, and what is the cause of the delay?
§ LORD GEORGE HAMILTONSir, the Return alluded to by my hon. Friend was received at the India Office last autumn. It did not contain all the information asked for by the House. The attention of the Indian Government has been directed to this fact, and as soon as we receive all the information necessary to complete the Return it shall be laid upon the Table of the House.
