HC Deb 25 June 1875 vol 225 c551
MR. PLIMSOLL

asked the First Lord of the Treasury, Whether he can take the Merchant Shipping Bill as the first Order of the Day on Monday, seeing that in its present position two nights' debates would probably finish the measure?

MR. DISRAELI

, in reply, said, it had already been arranged that the first Order of the Day for Monday next should be the Second Beading of the Bill relating to the Labour Laws. It would not be convenient to put down the Merchant Shipping Bill as the second Order, but he would bear the matter in mind, and at the proper time announce the date on which the consideration of the Bill would be resumed.
