§ MR. J. LOWTHER, in reply, side, the Report of the Committee of the Dominion House of Commons to which the hon. and learned Gentleman referred only reached his noble Friend the Secretary of State late on Saturday, so that he had not yet had sufficient time to enter into the necessary communication with the Local Government Board upon the subject. He would, however, let the hon. and learned Gentleman know as soon as a decision had been arrived at.
