§ LORD GEORGE HAMILTONSir, the Report of the Select Committee has for some time past been under the consideration of the Secretary of State for India, and a Despatch will be laid within the next week before the Council addressed to the Government of India, and assenting generally to the recommendations of the Select Committee.
