In reply to Mr. CHILDERS,

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER

said, that the first business proposed to be taken on Thursday next was the second reading of the Supreme Court of Judicature Act (1873) Amendment (No. 2) Bill, after that the Offences against the Person Bill, and next the Land Titles and Transfer Bill. The Education Tote would not be taken on that day, as had been previously arranged.

And it being now Seven of the clock, the House suspended its sitting.

The House resumed its sitting at Nine of the clock.
