moved that the House go into Committee on this Bill on Wednesday next.

moved, as an Amendment, that the House go into Committee that day week.

Amendment proposed, to leave out the word "Wednesday," in order to insert the word "Monday,"—(sir Charles W. Bilke,)—instead thereof.

Question put, "That the word 'Wednesday' stand part of the Question."

The House divided:—Ayes 50; Noes 27: Majority 23.

moved that the House should resolve itself into the said Committee on Friday.
