HC Deb 29 April 1875 vol 223 cc1827-8
SIR WILLIAM HARCOURT

asked the Secretary to the Treasury, Whether there will be any objection to give a Return of the growth or diminution from year to year of the various heads of receipt since 1841, so as to show the normal increase or decrease of the revenue for each year?

MR. W. H. SMITH,

in reply, said, there would be some difficulty in giving the Return. He would, however, consult with the hon. and learned Gentlemen as to the adoption of some form on which the Return might be made out.
