HC Deb 27 April 1875 vol 223 c1692
MR. CHILDERS

said, that as the Budget was introduced at the end of the evening, he wished to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, Whether he could not arrange for the debate on the Budget Resolutions to be taken as the first and not as the second Order of the Day? It now stood the second Order of the Day for next Thursday.

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER,

in reply, said, he did not anticipate that the Budget debate could possibly be taken on Thursday, and he would therefore propose to fix it as the First Order of the Day on Monday next.
