WILBRAHAM EGERTONasked the Vice President of the Privy Council, Whether, in the monthly return published by the Veterinary Department of the Privy Council Office, under section 22 of "The Contagious Diseases (Animals) Act, 1869,"—he would state in addition—(1.) Whether the foreign ports from which the animals are brought are in scheduled or unscheduled countries; (2.) The number of the healthy animals brought in the same vessel with the diseased animals, and the mode in which such healthy animals have been disposed of, whether by slaughter or otherwise?
§ VISCOUNT SANDONIn answer to my hon. Friend, I beg to say that the matters he has referred to do not come within my Department. I, however, brought the subject before the Lord President, and he has authorized me to say that he will be happy to direct the additions to be made to the monthly Return which my hon. Friend desires, and, if possible, will have them added to that of next month.
