§ SIR CHARLES W. DILKEasked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether the Government has received a Copy of the Report of the French Labour Laws Commission, and whether they will consent to the publication of that document, or of so much of it as relates to the treatment of Indian Coolie labourers in the French Colonies?
§ MR. BOURKE, in reply, said, Her Majesty's Government had not received a Copy of the Report, but they had received an extract from it. As the French Government had not published it themselves, Her Majesty's Government were not at liberty to publish the 782 extract. He was sorry, therefore, he could not do what the hon. Baronet desired.
