asked the Secretary of State for War, What steps, if any, have been taken to carry out those provisions of the Royal Warrant of 1st November 1871 which direct that Officers who are appointed Garrison Instructors or Assistant Adjutant Generals for Musketry may be retained on the strength of their corps as supernumerary, and their places filled up?
