HC Deb 14 May 1874 vol 219 c268
SIR FREDERICK PERKINS

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether he would have any objection, in the Bill he has promised to introduce for giving greater facilities for the acquisition of sites for Industrial Dwellings in the Metropolis, to include provisions for enabling the municipal authorities to provide public playgrounds for children?

MR. ASSHETON CROSS

, in reply, said, he would be prepared to consider the question. The hon. Member, however, must give him a little time. The question was a very large one, and he did not mean in the remarks he made the other night to say that he would give an opinion on it in the course of a month or two, or even in the present Session.
