MR. ASSHETON CROSSI wish, on behalf of my right hon. Friend the First Lord of the Treasury, to give Notice that, considering the state of Public Business altogether, and the near approach of the Whitsuntide holidays, he is of opinion that probably, on the whole, it would be more convenient to everybody concerned that we should take the Intoxicating Liquors Bill immediately after the holidays. Probably it would be inconvenient to ask the House to assemble to discuss such a measure on the first day, and therefore we will fix it for the Thursday after the Recess.
