§ MR. HORSMANasked the First Lord of the Treasury, Whether it be true that Her Majesty has been advised to issue a Letter of Business to Convocation; and, whether a Copy of that Letter will be at the same time presented to Parliament?
§ MR. DISRAELI, in reply, said, it was quite true that Her Majesty had been advised to re-issue or renew the Letter of Business, which was issued to Convocation in the year 1872. The Letter was not on the Table, but if the right hon. Gentleman wished to have a Copy there would be no objection to granting it.
§ MR. HORSMANsaid, he had only asked the Question in case the form should have been varied.
§ MR. DISRAELIsaid, he understood there was not the slightest change, it being merely the renewal of the Letter granted in 1872, which fell to the ground in consequence of the Dissolution of Parliament. If, however, there should be any difference he would lay the Letter upon the Table of the House.
