asked the Secretary of State for War, If be has come to a decision as to the formation of a Department of Army Accountants; or if the vacancies at present existing among Regimental Paymasters are likely to be soon filled up?

MR. GATHORNE HARDY

, in reply, said, that no decision had been come to, because he did not think there had been a sufficient inquiry. A further inquiry would be prosecuted, and in the meantime no vacancy would be filled up.
