§ MR. MUNDELLAasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether he is prepared to lay on the Table of the House the Report of the Commission on the Labour Laws, with the evidence taken before it?
MR. ASSHETON CROSS, in reply, said, he understood from the Secretary that the Commission had not concluded its labours. It had, however, taken a considerable amount of evidence, which would be in his hands, he hoped, tomorrow, and it might be laid on the Table of the House immediately. He had also ascertained that the Commissioners had adjourned for some time—he could not say how long—and that their intention was to finish their inquiry so that they might be laid on the Table of the House at the commencement of next Session.
§ MR. MUNDELLAwished to know whether it was not true that the Commission stood adjourned to November next?
