SULLIVANsaid, he wished to draw the attention of Mr. Speaker to the Standing Order of the House, which says that the House at its rising on Friday shall stand adjourned to the following Monday, unless the House shall otherwise order, and asked whether, that being so, the present sitting was regular?
§ MR. SPEAKERsaid, the Standing Order had been complied with, inasmuch as the House had "otherwise ordered," and Business had been set down on the Paper in the shape of certain Bills, in accordance with that Resolution, to be proceeded with at 12 o'clock that day.
